HELPING KIDS, SUPPORTING FAMILIES

Established in 2015 as a registered charity, The Indie Rose Foundation helps to ease the financial burden on Far North Queensland families with children who are suffering from a medical condition that requires specialised medical treatment away from their homes.

The Indie Rose Foundation is the legacy of Indie Rose Taurima who lost her battle with Leukaemia in 2014, at 2 years of age.

The Indie Rose Foundation assists families who find themselves in difficult financial circumstances when a serious medical condition affects their child. Caring for a sick child is emotionally draining, but coupled with the fear, anxiety and financial burden of job loss and travel and treatment expenses, it can also be crippling.

The Indie Rose Foundation also endeavors to brighten the lives of sick children and their families by bringing some fun and enjoyment into their lives.

Of course, to be able to provide financial support to families with children suffering medical conditions, we need the generous support of the communities. We can only help these families, with a little help from you.

Unlike many other charities our administrative costs are infinitesimal, because we operate with unpaid volunteers. The Indie Rose Foundation is run by a volunteer board and supported by dedicated fundraisers, all with a common goal to help sick kids and their families.
