"During Indie’s life, she managed to bring together a whole community full of love, support, and generosity. It was an honour to work with the Indie Rose Foundation to create a very personal and memorable logo, and be a part of something that will ensure people are able to continue giving in Indie's name for many years to come."

My name is Abi and I am 13 years old and I love to race BMX.

When I was 10, I heard Indie Rose and the battle she had ahead of her. Sadly Indie lost her fight. Her farewell was the same weekend as our local BMX carnival. It was then that I decided that I would Ride for Indie. I won for the first time that weekend.

In October 2015, My big sister was given the news that She had a tumor growing on her spine and the doctors words where ‘it didn't look good’.  Hearing that turned our families world upside down. Fortunately she was lucky enough that her tumor was benign and could be could be removed by operation.

Through my love of BMX I want to continue to spread the word of the wonderful things that the INDIEstructables have done and continue to do and for all the hard work that has gone into establishing the foundation and honouring Indie's fighting spirit.
